TERMS AND CONDITION

Effective Date: 2025/26

These Terms and Conditions form the agreement between Knowledge and Skills Hub (“we”, “our”, “us”) and the parent/guardian (“you”) enrolling a student (“the student”) in our tuition services.

1. Enrolment

A completed registration form must be submitted before tuition commences.

All details provided must be accurate and up to date.

Enrolment is confirmed only once payment for the first session or term has been received.

2. Tuition Fees & Payment

Fees are payable in advance (weekly, monthly, or termly as agreed).

Payment methods: [bank transfer / direct debit / card / cash – specify what you accept].

Late payments may result in suspension of tuition until the balance is cleared.

Fees are non-refundable except where sessions are cancelled by the centre.

Any fee changes will be communicated in writing with at least 4 weeks’ notice.

3. Cancellations & Absences

If a student cannot attend a session, at least 24 hours’ notice must be given.

Sessions missed without sufficient notice will be charged in full.

Where possible, we will try to arrange an alternative session but this cannot be guaranteed.

If the centre cancels a session, you will be offered a rescheduled date or full refund for that session.

4. Conduct & Behaviour

Students are expected to behave respectfully towards tutors and other learners.

Disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behaviour may result in suspension or permanent removal from tuition.

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring students arrive and are collected promptly.

5. Learning Materials

Learning resources provided by the centre remain our property unless otherwise stated.

Students must take reasonable care of all borrowed materials and return them when requested.

6. Safeguarding & Welfare

We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment.

All tutors are subject to Enhanced DBS checks.

Parents/guardians must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or learning needs that may affect

tuition.

7. Online Tuition (if applicable)

Online sessions are delivered via secure, approved platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).

Students must have a quiet, safe learning environment and should not record sessions without consent.

Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising younger students during online lessons.

8. Data Protection (GDPR)

We collect and store personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

Information is used solely for educational and administrative purposes.

We will not share personal data with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

Our full Privacy Policy is available upon request.

9. Photography & Media

Occasionally, we may take photos/videos for educational or promotional purposes.

No images will be used without prior consent as indicated on your registration form.

10. Termination of Tuition

Either party may terminate tuition by giving two weeks’ notice in writing.

The centre reserves the right to terminate enrolment immediately in cases of persistent non-payment or serious misconduct.

11. Liability

While we take every reasonable precaution for student safety, Knowledge and Skills Hub cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage, or injury occurring on or off the premises unless due to our negligence.

Parents/guardians are responsible for students’ safety before and after lessons.
